Fresh & Functional was founded in 2021 by two mothers from the Gold Coast Hinterland, Danni and Lauren. Our journey began with a shared passion for organising our own homes, and as our passion flourished, so did our business. Today, Fresh & Functional is testament to the dedication and hard work of our team, who helped turn a simple idea into a smoothly operating business.

Lauren, a mother of two adventurous boys, spends her weekends either scaling indoor boulders or enjoying beachside camping trips. Her passion for decluttering blossomed in the early days of motherhood, when she realized that embracing simplicity—keeping only what’s essential and truly loved—dramatically lightened her load. This experience ignited her dedication to crafting purposeful, meaningful spaces.

DANNI

Danni, a devoted mother of three, finds joy in nature, gardening, meditation, and rearranging her home. With a unique talent for transforming chaos into order, Danni’s diverse background in corporate banking, horticulture, and psychology has deepened her appreciation for the relationship between our surroundings and our mental and emotional well-being. This profound connection is a topic she holds close to her heart.

A mother of two and a nature enthusiast, primary school teacher and bush kindy educator, Renee brings a wealth of experience to our team as a home organiser. Her background in education makes her particularly skilled at creating organized spaces that work for the whole family. With an adventurous spirit, a great sense of humor, and a strong sense of logic, Renee is an invaluable asset to our home organisation business.

A qualified teacher and cherished member of the Fresh & Functional team, Maddy brings straight forward motivation and dedication to every project. When she’s not organising and resetting peoples homes, she enjoys crafting, camping, and spending quality time with family and friends. With a passion for travel and a can-do attitude, no job is too big or too small for Maddy.

A true cleaning and organising expert, Sue leaves no space untouched. Armed with her magic eraser and a wealth of techniques to tackle even the toughest messes, she works swiftly and quietly to bring order to any space. Her own home is a model of cleanliness, embodying the Fresh & Functional motto, "Everything has a home," long before the business existed. Sue is the original master of home organisation.
